Rolando is Partner and President at Consortium Legal with more than 38 years of experience as a lawyer, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, and civil and commercial litigation. He has led high-profile local and international transactions, including major corporate acquisitions, complex real estate deals, and advisory services in key litigation matters across the region.

In addition to his professional practice, Rolando has held institutional leadership roles, serving as President of the International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (CICA) from 2009 to 2011, and as Advisor to former Costa Rican President Abel Pacheco from 2002 to 2004.

• Advised on the sale of a majority stake in Cable Tica to Liberty Latin America, strengthening the latter’s presence in the Costa Rican telecommunications market.
• Advised on the sale of Aceros Abonos Agro to Metalco, consolidating its position in the construction materials sector.
