Juan Fernando is an associate at Consortium Legal – Guatemala, with two years of experience in legal counseling, especially in civil, commercial, notarial, tax and customs matters. Within the firm, prior to joining the Banking and Finance team, he was part of the Tax team, in which he specialized for more than a year in administrative and judicial defense in tax and customs matters, for the financial, energy, export, and airline services sectors, among others. He is also a member of the firm's Pro-Bono Committee.

During his career, Juan Fernando has worked at other recognized law firms in Guatemala, in which he counseled the incorporation, amendment and dissolution of local commercial and civil entities, including the implementation of corporate governance and the preparation and formalization of civil and commercial contracts. In addition, he completed an internship at a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian assistance and legal counseling to migrants in transit through Guatemala.
