José Ramón is the Co-founder and Partner of Consortium Legal – Honduras. With more than 48 years of professional experience, he specializes in Banking & Finance, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Finance, International Financial Transactions, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Throughout his career, he has advised national and international banks on large cross-border financial transactions, ranging from US$ 30 million to US$ 1.7 billion, structuring guarantees through trusts in several of these deals. He has also participated in cross-border mergers and acquisitions valued at up to US$ 650 million, representing both foreign acquirers and local sellers.

In addition, he served as an Alternate Justice of the Supreme Court of Honduras, providing him with a comprehensive and strategic perspective in legal and corporate advisory services.
