Fernando López

Partner - Honduras

Fernando is a partner at Consotium Legal - Honduras. He has 11 years of professional experience and specializes in the area of regulated sectors, environmental law, public procurement and labor law. He has extensive experience providing advice to companies operating in Honduras in the area of renewable energy, construction, telecommunications, television, radio and real estate. 

Among his most important strengths are his handling and specialization in the regulations applicable to the energy sector in Honduras, as well as the special regulations that in the area of telecommunications are issued by CONATEL within the framework of its attributions. 

In labor matters, it has been characterized by a corporate labor advisory to the Firm's Clients, putting into practice its knowledge in a proactive way in order to provide the best possible service in any scenario faced. It has specialized in the handling of employees and in all types of processes related to the development, negotiation and termination of labor contracts in all their stages. 

Fernando has also had experience in government contracting, structuring of large projects, and has participated in processes of study and evaluation of public-private partnerships.  He currently teaches at the Law School of UNITEC Tegucigalpa.
