Diego is a Partner at Consortium Legal – Costa Rica with more than 23 years of experience, specializing in the financial and tax sectors. He has extensive experience in tax consulting, litigation, mergers, acquisitions, and tax planning, primarily for multinational corporations as well as local companies. He currently leads the firm’s tax consulting practice in the areas of business analysis and advisory services.

Diego has worked as an external consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), developing and implementing training programs for public officials. He is a regular columnist for the economic weekly El Financiero, a professor at the University of Costa Rica (UCR) where he chairs the tax law program, and serves as President of the International Fiscal Association – Costa Rica Chapter and Member of the Costa Rican Institute of Tax Studies.
