Daniela Orive

ASSOCIATE - GUATEMALA

Daniela is an Associate at Consortium Legal – Guatemala with five years of professional experience, focusing her practice on strategic litigation and dispute resolution in civil, commercial, administrative, and constitutional matters, with particular emphasis on the structuring and management of complex proceedings before administrative authorities, ordinary courts, and constitutional tribunals.

She also specializes in domestic and international arbitration, actively participating in dispute analysis, the development of procedural strategies, and the comprehensive handling of arbitral proceedings. Additionally, her practice extends to the early stages of dispute development, even prior to the formal initiation of litigation, through strategic defense planning, negotiation strategy design, and the implementation of mechanisms aimed at conflict prevention and early dispute management, providing comprehensive support in decision-making processes.

Complementarily, Daniela is involved in preventive legal advisory and risk management, including the analysis of complex situations, the identification of legal contingencies, and the formulation of strategic alternatives for their mitigation. This practice is primarily oriented toward advising national and multinational corporations, considering their intra-group relationships, business-to-business (B2B) commercial relations, interactions with end customers, and dealings with government entities within highly regulated environments.

She also holds academic training in finance, enabling her to integrate legal analysis with economic considerations and risk management perspectives. Overall, her professional practice is aimed at delivering comprehensive legal solutions, combining contentious, regulatory, and transactional approaches with a strategic vision aligned with business objectives.
