Cristina is a Senior Associate at Consortium Legal – Guatemala with more than 10 years of professional experience advising clients in key industries such as agriculture, food and beverages, retail, agribusiness, transportation, pharmaceuticals, and professional services. Her practice focuses on corporate and tax law, with particular emphasis on estate planning, corporate structuring, and family businesses.

She has been actively involved in structuring, reorganizations, acquisitions, investments, and mergers of both national and multinational companies with significant impact in Central America. Her practice combines legal knowledge with a strategic business perspective, allowing her to design efficient and sustainable corporate and tax structures.

In addition to her professional practice, Cristina is a tenured professor at Universidad Francisco Marroquín, where she teaches Civil Jurisprudence and General Theory of Procedure. She also represents Consortium Legal Guatemala before the Pro-Bono Foundation of Guatemala and is an active member of the firm’s Pro-Bono Committee, contributing to advancing access to justice in the country.
