Astrid is a Partner at Consortium Legal – Guatemala with more than 13 years of experience advising clients in the agribusiness, infrastructure, energy, retail, and startup sectors. She specializes in public law, focusing on criminal, labor, and constitutional litigation, as well as criminal risk prevention and regulatory compliance for both national and multinational companies.

Throughout her career, she has represented clients in complex criminal proceedings, including tax, environmental, and trademark-related cases. She has also played a key role in the design and implementation of compliance systems, leading the creation of the firm’s Regulatory Compliance Department and coordinating regional initiatives and training programs in compliance.

Her practice combines corporate criminal litigation with preventive legal strategies, helping clients strengthen governance frameworks, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory environments.
