Rodrigo is a partner at Consortium Legal - Nicaragua. With 26 years of professional practice, he has extensive experience in foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, banking and securities, advising relevant international and local transactions that generate significant impacts in the region. He provides ongoing advice to financial institutions on the execution of secured and unsecured lines of credit, subordinated agreements, regulatory matters, among other financial matters.
He has participated in syndicated loans of more than US$200 million, including the constitution of local guarantees. He has also advised on the transfer of equity holdings in financial institutions to new investors. He has led legal teams responsible for conducting due diligence processes for the acquisition of companies from various industries, such as the financial, commercial, and telecommunications sectors, among others.
