With great enthusiasm, Consortium Legal is pleased to announce the appointment of Fabiola Sáenz Quesada and Roy Ramos Morales as practice partners in Costa Rica. This promotion follows the firm’s career development plan, growth strategy, and ongoing commitment to providing the highest standard of quality in each service we deliver to our clients. This elevates the number of local partners to 22 and the total number of partners in the Central American region to 63, aligning with our continuous pursuit of excellence.

Fabiola brings over 15 years of experience in legal advice in Intellectual Property. Specialized in sectors such as finance, cosmetics, health, and food and beverages, she is distinguished for her expertise in managing trademark and patent portfolios. She was Board Director Prosecutor at the Costa Rican Bar Association. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of APPICR, is an active member of ASIPI and INTA, and coordinates the Intellectual Property Commission at the Bar Association. Fabiola not only excels in her professional field but is also passionate about social impact issues, to which she has dedicated her talent and effort. For four years, she coordinated the Environmental Committee in the firm and participated in the Diversity and Gender Committee.

On the other hand, Roy boasts over 24 years of experience in specialized legal advice in Public Law, administrative litigation, administrative contracting, and sanctioning administrative procedures, in sectors such as telecommunications, energy, and aeronautical law. His career includes key roles such as advisor to the National Concessions Council, legal advisor to the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, attorney auditor of the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic, and external consultant to the Technical Council of Civil Aviation. Among his achievements, he stands out for his representation in insurance disputes, contentious-administrative processes in tariff matters and contractual execution, as well as his advice on public-private partnership projects, public infrastructure construction, trusts, and debt refinancing in public works concessions. He has also excelled as an advisor in private power generation projects, comprehensive health services, the cooperative sector, among others.
