Transitory provisions of the International Services Law in El Salvador are extended

We hereby bring to your attention:

By means of Legislative Decree number 587 dated December 02, 2022, published in the Official Gazette No. 239, Volume 437, dated December 19, 2022, the Transitory Provisions to the International Services Law, issued by Legislative Decree number 705, were extended until December 31, 2023.

Said Transitory Provisions allow direct users of parks and service centers to develop their activities outside the authorized facilities.

Likewise, they authorize the users of parks and service centers to provide their company’s workers, who have to carry out activities outside the authorized facilities, with the tools and equipment necessary for the normal performance of their work, such as telephones, computers, monitors and other accessories.

This Decree is of public order and became effective as of January 1st of this year.
